Tom Hicks Biography
Tom Hicks is an accomplished American Private Equity Investor, Sports Team Owner, and Financier who was born and brought up in Port Arthur, Texas. He was a founding member of the HM Capital Partners (Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst) investment firm which previously owned half of Liverpool F.C., an English football club.
Tom currently works as the Chairman of Hicks Holdings LLC which formerly owned the Texas Rangers, the Dallas Stars, and the Mesquite Championship Rodeo, and currently which owns and operates Hicks Sports Group. Since January 2019, he has been working as a Co-Chairman of the Republican National Committee in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Texas, and has been a Member of the Board for Drilling Tools International.
